The story, without the ending
Will and Mia are two lovers chasing the light across vacated urban sprawl and out into the countryside, and they are trapped: the barren Texas landscape around them behaves like another dimension, where gravity is uncertain and shadows follow them.
Will’s nightmares take shape as seven pursuers who answer to a figure called The Black Dog, each cast as one of the deadly sins: Wrathen for wrath, Lucia for lust, Proudfoot for pride, Monkey for sloth, Sneed for greed, Tony for gluttony. Once the pair realise the seven feed on their fears, they set about forging an escape.
