A bungalow for Mamta
Young doctor Amrita Deshmukh comes to see a bungalow, and Digya shows it to her. She starts the Mamta fertility center there, hoping to give the joy of motherhood to women who cannot experience motherhood. Digya prepares women for surrogacy in return for a commission. As he continues, he comes to see the work as a kind of social service, but obstacles arise.
The people around Digya
Prathamesh Parab plays Digambar “Digyabhau” Kantode. Prithvik Pratap plays Chochya, and Ankita Landepatil plays Dr. Amrita Deshmukh. Ganesh Yadav appears as MLA Sanjay Bhosle, with Shreya Kulkarni as Shalan. Mohsin Khan directed the Marathi-language comedy-drama, which Lucia Entertainment produced. It was theatrically released on 9 February 2024.
Critical response
Kalpeshraj Kubal of Maharashtra Times gave it 2.5 out of 5 and compared it unfavorably with Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. He cited superficial storytelling and an underdeveloped screenplay, saying this reduced its impact. A Sakal reviewer recognised its attempt to address a sensitive social issue but felt it fell short in some areas. Sanjay Ghaware of Lokmat also awarded 2.5 out of 5, noting an unoriginal plot and long scenes while commending the acting, lyrics, cinematography and dialogues.
