Jasper Whyte's changing will
Multimillionaire Jasper Whyte, faced with an upcoming inheritance tax, summons a group to his mansion and says each will receive one million dollars.
His plan changes when Doris Waverly, a long-lost granddaughter, arrives, prompting him to leave his entire fortune to her.
Then another Doris Waverly appears at the mansion, and a murder is committed.

Charley Grapewin plays Jasper Whyte, with Lucien Littlefield as Dr. Denham and Mary Carlisle as the Second Doris Waverly. Regis Toomey plays Tom Dean, Arthur Hohl is Arthur Proctor, and Fred Kelsey is Sheriff Jenks.
Evalyn Knapp plays the Fake Doris Waverly. Hedda Hopper plays Laura Proctor.
