Punjabi movies online: free full films from the rights holder
4 films with a checked free offer
All four Punjabi films here are comedies, and all four are published free by Shemaroo Punjabi on its own channel. That says something about what Punjabi rights holders choose to give away: the broad family comedy, built around well-known comic actors, is the genre that travels.
Security Tight is the one with a known year, 2007; Kulwinder Koki directed it, with Sudesh Lehri and Gurchet Chitarkar. Gurchet Chitarkar appears across the others too, including Mada Jawai and Sandhara, which he also produced.

Short films by feature standards
These run shorter than most of the catalogue: Mada Jawai just over an hour, Sandhara and Jatti Di Dushmani well under an hour and a half, Security Tight about an hour and a half. They are complete films as their studio publishes them, not excerpts, and the runtime on each entry is the one the channel reports.
That makes this page the quickest way into the catalogue if you have an hour to spare. The picker on the home page will do the same arithmetic for any language if you give it the time you have.
Why some Punjabi uploads were left out
Punjabi channels often title a film by its star and genre instead of its name — "Punjabi Romantic Full Movie", "Superhit Punjabi Movie Yograj Singh Action Comedy". An upload whose own title and description never say which film it is cannot be listed, because nobody could check it, so several were dropped for that reason alone.
Upload titles also carry the upload year, which is not the film’s year. Where the record does not state when a film was released, the page shows no year at all.
Watching
Each film streams on YouTube, free with advertising, with no account. The film page links straight to the channel and to the source record, and the about page explains the check that every entry passed.
Film by film
Jatti Di Dushmani follows a foreigner who comes to India to try traditional medicine and gets a good deal more than he bargained for; at about an hour and ten minutes it is a quick watch. Security Tight, the 2007 film, puts Sudesh Lehri and Gurchet Chitarkar at the centre of a chase comedy, with Partap Fauzdar, Deepak Raja and Deepak Ghai in the cast.
Mada Jawai is directed by Jeet Bhari, who also appears in it, and runs just over an hour. Sandhara is directed by Dilawar Sidhu and follows a Punjabi family convinced of its own singing talent.
More Punjabi comedy is coming, slowly
Shemaroo Punjabi publishes new comedies often, and several recent uploads nearly made this page. They were left out because the upload named a star and a genre while a different title sat in its credits, and a film listed under the wrong name is worse than one not listed. When the channel’s own records settle on a name, those films can be checked again.
Where the stream plays
All four Punjabi films are cleared for streaming in nearly every country, which suits an audience that is spread well beyond Punjab: across the rest of India, the United Kingdom, Canada and elsewhere. The film page lists the regions the studio reports, so there is no need to press play to find out.
Every one of them is free with advertising and needs no account. If you are choosing between them, Security Tight is the most conventional feature, Jatti Di Dushmani the shortest, and Sandhara the one built around music.
Short runtimes make these the easiest films in the catalogue to fit around something else. Mada Jawai, at about an hour, is the quickest of all; none of the four runs past an hour and a half, so a whole Punjabi comedy fits into a lunch break or a train journey.

Questions people ask
Are these Punjabi films legal to watch?
Yes. All four are on Shemaroo Punjabi, the channel of the company that holds their rights.
Why are they all comedies?
Because those are the complete Punjabi films the rights holder has published free. Punjabi drama and action exist in plenty; they are not free from anyone who owns them at the moment.
Why do most entries have no year?
The uploads carry the year they were posted, not the year the film came out. A year is shown only where the record states the release, as it does for Security Tight.
Who is Gurchet Chitarkar?
A Punjabi comic actor who appears in several of these films and produced some of them. The film pages name the cast the studio lists.
