Copies of later films in the series circulate on YouTube, and the distributor of two of them, Maverick Entertainment, posts their trailers on its own channel. The 2005 film itself was not found as a full upload on a channel run by a company that holds its rights on 2026-10-05, and that is the test every film in this catalogue has to pass. An upload from anyone else can vanish overnight or was never licensed in the first place, so it is not listed here as free.
Once Pastor Jones is published free by whoever owns it, the film takes a place in the English catalogue with a play button and the day it was confirmed.
The story, without the ending
Lincoln Heights is a city run down by drug dealers, gang violence and police who look the other way. Pastor Jones, an ex-convict who turned his life around after finding God, comes back to his home town to preach hope and redemption to the people still living in it.
The man behind most of the trouble is Blade, his old friend and now the local drug lord. Backed by his girlfriend Tina and a group of young people who believe in him, the pastor sets out to take Blade and his gang on, with his faith on one side and his street sense on the other.
The series it started
The 2005 film was the first of a run of direct-to-video Pastor Jones titles in which La Marre kept the role: Pastor Jones 2: Lord Guide My 16 Year Old Daughter (2006), Pastor Jones: Sisters in Spirit (2007), Pastor Jones: Sisters in Spirit 2, Preachin’ to the Choir and My Sister Loves You (all 2009), and a collected “complete first season” release in 2010. Two further titles, Samuel and Delia and Help Save My Daughter, were distributed by Maverick Entertainment. Anyone who arrives here looking for one of those lands on the same record, because none of them has a confirmed free offer either.
La Marre, born in Brooklyn, is credited with releasing more than sixty feature films through his own label, Nulite Media Group, and the Pastor Jones films are the best known of them.
