Three friends in Bombay

Family revelations and a rift

Govinda is reunited with his father, Advocate Verma, at his mother's funeral after years apart. Soon afterward, a police inspector introduces Johny to Mary, his biological mother. Johny learns that Verma was responsible for atrocities inflicted on Mary in the past, then confronts him seeking justice. Govinda defends Verma's innocence, and the dispute drives a widening rift between the friends.

D.K.'s opportunity
