Travel through the country

After Captain Moorthy is seriously wounded in an exchange with poachers on the Indian border, he asks his brother-in-arms, Captain Saravanan, to care for his six-year-old daughter Rani. Their journey begins at the military camp after Moorthy's request. Saravanan and Rani travel through the country amid pitfalls. Saravanan realises that the person Rani protects leads an evil group. They meet Sarasu, a young woman without ties who becomes a mother to Rani and Saravanan's affectionate partner. Together, they confront obstacles on the road.

Songs and contemporary notices

K. V. Mahadevan composed the soundtrack, and Panchu Arunachalam wrote all its lyrics. The Indian Express called the story “lacklustre”, the narration “mawkish” and the dialogue “gibberish”. T. M. Ramachandran of Sport and Pastime said the film had flaws and improbable, illogical sequences, but that Thirumugam made it somewhat interesting with racy treatment and attention to the box office.
